Episode 50
050: Turning Coaching Calls into High Converting Podcast Content
Are you building authority with your podcast… or hiding behind interviews?
In this live coaching session, I sit down with Laura, host of Be Bold, Make Waves, to unpack what happens when your podcast becomes time consuming, download numbers feel discouraging, and you’re unsure whether your content is actually supporting your business growth.
Laura built a beautiful interview-based podcast with over 80 episodes. But she started questioning whether that format was positioning her as the expert in email marketing or simply connecting her audience to other people’s expertise.
This conversation dives deep into the strategic shifts that help women entrepreneurs transform their podcasts into true authority-building platforms.

Hello there, beautiful women.
Speaker A:It is Kim Parkinson with podcasting for your spiritual business.
Speaker A:And today I am pulling an old coaching call out of the vault.
Speaker A:I actually recorded this in September with Laura Comack and we are expecting a blizzard this week.
Speaker A:And I thought, you know what?
Speaker A:I'm just going to make it easy for myself and send you off with a coaching call.
Speaker A:I have a couple of these in the bank.
Speaker A:I have.
Speaker A:I like to keep them so that for special occasions like this where I might need a quick little episode to be done.
Speaker A:And this is.
Speaker A:This one fits the bill.
Speaker A:It has a little bit about visibility and a little bit about production, too, and a little bit about guesting.
Speaker A:So there's a little bit of everything in this episode.
Speaker A:So it's a real coaching call that I had with Laura.
Speaker A:She is the host of Be Bold, Make Waves.
Speaker A:And we dive into what happens when your podcast is heavy, inconsistent, and maybe unclear, and how to shift that from an interview overload into a true authority building content.
Speaker A:And let me tell you, I have recently just taken a look at her now.
Speaker A:I did a call with her previous to this call.
Speaker A:You'll hear about that.
Speaker A:She helped me with some email marketing, which she was absolutely amazing at.
Speaker A:If you are interested, I. I am going to put her link to her website in her show notes and her web, her podcast is still out there for the world to hear, although she still has not done any additional episodes.
Speaker A:But you'll hear a little bit about why she has decided to take a step back from that.
Speaker A:And yet she still has those out there.
Speaker A:So they're good forever.
Speaker A:They're evergreen.
Speaker A:So go take a listen, give her some love, and hopefully you can pick up some nuggets from this coaching call with Laura.
Speaker A:Welcome, Lara, could you tell me a little bit about your podcast, the name of your podcast and your business?
Speaker B:Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker B:Thank you so much, Kim.
Speaker B:So my podcast is called Be Bold, Make Waves and it is inspiring stories of female entrepreneurs who are talking like we go deep into some of the struggles along the way.
Speaker B:We talk about the wins, the struggles.
Speaker B:I'm big on celebrating, but I'm also big on really having those clear conversations that not everyone wants to have because business is not all sunshine, lollipops and rainbows.
Speaker B:Like, it is tough to be an entrepreneur.
Speaker B:And so I really love to get into those deeper conversations with my guests on the podcast.
Speaker A:Beautiful.
Speaker A:And now I know you haven't been doing it recently and could you tell me how many episodes you did have?
Speaker A:Do you remember, I believe I was around 82 Ooh, nice.
Speaker A:Congrats.
Speaker A:That's a great.
Speaker A:That's great.
Speaker A:Are you thinking about restarting it?
Speaker B:I've toyed with the idea kind of back and forth.
Speaker B:I will say one of the things for me is it was I know how to do podcast production.
Speaker B:I did it for clients for many years.
Speaker B:And so for me, there was a very low entry to starting my podcast because I knew what needed to be done, but just the amount of time that it was taking and I wasn't really finding.
Speaker B:I wasn't getting a lot of downloads.
Speaker B:I wasn't, you know, everyone's like, well, who's your audience?
Speaker B:I'm like, well, I, you know, what does your audience want to hear?
Speaker B:I'm like, I don't know.
Speaker B:They don't reply to anything.
Speaker B:Like, I don't know who's listening to it.
Speaker B:Which I say that.
Speaker B:Although sometimes I was getting people who would tell me, they're like, I listen every week.
Speaker B:I loved.
Speaker B:I started doing income reports, which was really fun to just.
Speaker B:I love when other people do them because I loved, again, to see the behind the scenes, because I think there's
Speaker A:a lot that we.
Speaker B:It looks, you know, like pretty Instagram, and there's a lot going on behind the scenes that not everyone sees.
Speaker B:And so I love that.
Speaker B:That transparency of it and being real.
Speaker B:I'm a very authentic person of, like, I will tell you like it is.
Speaker B:And so I enjoyed doing them, but they were so time consuming.
Speaker B: And then it was in: Speaker B:Like, every month, I'd be like, here's my three goals for next month.
Speaker B:I'm like, I didn't reach those goals.
Speaker B:I didn't book those clients.
Speaker B:I'm like, my income's going down.
Speaker B:I'm like, this is depressing to.
Speaker B:For me, like, it was hard for me to really dive so deep into those numbers when they weren't good numbers.
Speaker B:And so I was like, I can't do this.
Speaker B:It's taking too.
Speaker B:And it was just.
Speaker B:It was a lot.
Speaker B:So that was a big answer to your.
Speaker A:No, that's okay.
Speaker A:Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker A:So we're going to tackle a problem that you have today.
Speaker A:Tell me, if you were, to me, if we were to wave that magic wand, what would you want to tackle?
Speaker A:What would the first thing be that you'd want to tackle around your podcast?
Speaker B:You know, I think I feel like I made it very interview focused, and I think that was part of the problem, is I wasn't necessarily establishing myself as an authority, because people were just coming for interviews and I used it as a connection strategy, but then I didn't have a follow up to really continue to build that relationship with people.
Speaker B:And I think where if I could go back and change things or if I could do things different going forward, would be having more solo episodes to help show myself as the authority in the space of email marketing that I am and talk more to those people and then bring in guests as needed, but not have it be so interview focused more.
Speaker B:Here's why I am the authority and why you should hear what I have to say and all my thoughts.
Speaker A:I love that I 100% subscribe to that.
Speaker A:My, my philosophy around podcasting is maintain your authority.
Speaker A:You should have at least 75% of your content should be you showing your.
Speaker A:Maintaining your authority, showing your authority.
Speaker A:So that could be, that could be solo episodes, that could be coaching episodes, coaching style episodes where you're coaching someone with your 20 minute discovery call and recording that and then basically then you are publishing that as a interview.
Speaker A:As a, not an interview, but as a coaching call on your podcast.
Speaker B:Could you turn, instead of it being like the front facing offer of being like, hey, we're getting on a 20 minute laser focused strategy session, which I do.
Speaker B:Could it be, hey, would you be interested in being interviewed on my podcast where we will do a 20 minute laser focus strategy session?
Speaker B:You answer some questions, I go through my findings.
Speaker A:Yeah, you know, we just had a laser focused strategy session right before this call and everything that we did could be a coaching call for your podcast because that's exactly what this is.
Speaker A:You know, you filled out a form, I filled out a form.
Speaker A:Very similar information or, you know, specific to our niches here, our expertise, but same thing.
Speaker A:And then so I get on your 20 minute call and you're giving me actionable steps of what to do next.
Speaker A:Now usually when I do these coaching calls, exactly the same thing.
Speaker A:I'm giving you actionable steps on what to do next.
Speaker A:And then I usually cut it off and I do some sort of different ending when it comes down to like the pricing and what you're offering and things like that, unless you want to offer and then, you know, again, you know, production.
Speaker A: in: Speaker A:I don't know, like, that's a long time ago.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:20 years ago.
Speaker A:But, you know, you just want that, you want that information so that they can see how you work.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:So they are seeing how you coach people.
Speaker A:This is a laser focused call and we're going to look at your behind the scenes of your email.
Speaker A:I've already done all the research, so why do it again?
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:You've already done all of that.
Speaker A:You did a fabulous presentation.
Speaker A:And again, I know we're recording this, so if you haven't, you should go do one because it was absolutely amazing call.
Speaker A:And now I need to step up my calls because she had a beautiful presentation.
Speaker A:But you've done that, so why not turn that content that you're doing, record that and turn that into a podcast episode and then be like, this is how I work with people.
Speaker A:This is where you start.
Speaker A:This is how I explain what needs to be done.
Speaker A:And everybody's got a nuance.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:We talked about.
Speaker A:I have some offers that I never, that I never talk about.
Speaker A:I don't use my affiliate links as much, but, you know, maybe other people have other things.
Speaker A:Maybe they're not posting newsletters weekly or maybe they're not posting them at all.
Speaker A:Maybe they have nobody.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So everybody that you're going to meet and is going to have that laser focus call is going to be just a little bit different.
Speaker A:And so everybody gets that idea of.
Speaker A:That's how I work with Laura.
Speaker A:I love that.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:I want to go work with her.
Speaker A:And then they walk into your world and there's, there's a connection.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:So I love that idea.
Speaker B:Can.
Speaker B:So can I still get away with it not having to be like a weekly every single week?
Speaker B:I'm putting it out, like in the podcasting, the world of consistency, because like in the world of email marketing, you need to be consistent.
Speaker B:Like, is it.
Speaker B:Because that's the thing that again, was my struggle was like, because it is time consuming to do podcast production.
Speaker B:It's not just a little like, and we're done, like graphics.
Speaker B:There's all, you know, there's the descriptions.
Speaker B:There's all.
Speaker B:Again, I stopped doing mine right as AI was like ramping up.
Speaker B:I'm sure it's.
Speaker B:There's a lot of things that would make it a lot easier now, but I, it was very, I was, it was a time consuming process for me.
Speaker A:So let me streamline this for you.
Speaker A:If we were to hone in on your podcast name and use some keywords in there and you gave me some, because you are actually saying that this was inspiring stories about women, you're Talking about women's struggles.
Speaker A:You don't have to change the name, but just add an extension on with some really great keywords.
Speaker A:And then I did notice in your description, you start that.
Speaker A:Your description with welcome.
Speaker A:You want to start your description with the.
Speaker A:With SEO keywords with something a keyword about there, right?
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:So one, it pulls.
Speaker A:The podcast players pull from your podcast name.
Speaker A:So we want to use some keywords.
Speaker A:Then it looks at your podcast description, the actual description of the show.
Speaker A:We need more keywords in there.
Speaker A:And then each of the episode titles need keywords or something that sparks curiosity.
Speaker A:How to top five?
Speaker A:Could you.
Speaker A:Would.
Speaker A:Would we something like Sparks curiosity the show notes.
Speaker A:Unless you're using them on your website, not even needed on your website.
Speaker A:I would put a link to the episode, which you can.
Speaker A:You can get populated automatically.
Speaker A:And then I would just drop the transcript so that it can be crawled by web crawlers.
Speaker A:And that's it.
Speaker A:I wouldn't even.
Speaker A:At the show notes are for your listeners to kind of like take a look at.
Speaker A:And I would only put one link in there to maximum, like, that's it.
Speaker A:Because again, let's face it, we're listening in the car to a podcast.
Speaker A:You don't even see the show notes.
Speaker A:You don't see them, you don't see the link.
Speaker A:So unless you go back to it, like, they're on to the next episode of somebody else's podcast, maybe, or something else.
Speaker A:So I would just leave it very bare bones, basic.
Speaker A:As far as the show notes and audiograms are dead.
Speaker A:I wouldn't even bother with those anymore.
Speaker A:I actually just stopped them within the last like two, three weeks.
Speaker A:I tested them all summer long.
Speaker A:They're dead.
Speaker A:Like, legitimately.
Speaker A:Instagram was telling me I got 10 views and 100%, like, move on rate or whatever it was.
Speaker A:I was like, yep, dead.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Carousels are good.
Speaker A:But again, if you don't have the time, no worries.
Speaker A:What I do is after I record an episode, when I go back and I do any kind of editing in the episode, I then pick up my phone after I'm done and I give.
Speaker A:I do a reel and I'm like, I have this episode dropping today and.
Speaker A:And I say whatever it is, this little bit, I save that so that when the episode starts dropping, I put that out right away.
Speaker A:So it's so streamlined.
Speaker A:No more intros, no more outros.
Speaker A:Do it automatically.
Speaker A:Like, just do it as you do the interview now.
Speaker A:So I know that this one here, we started by saying hello and all of that When I go edit it, I will actually just do a 30, 45 second snippet, explain to the, to the audience who you are a little bit more about you and why we had this conversation, that it's a coaching call, but it's so simple, so easy.
Speaker A:And then, and then that's it.
Speaker A:I don't bother with like recording all the intros anymore.
Speaker A:I do have an outro that I leave on there, just, you know, because it's already done.
Speaker A:So I did it, but as easy and streamlined as possible.
Speaker A:And I would only post anything that you have to do about your podcast on your own personal Facebook page or your favorite social media, wherever that might be.
Speaker A:And I would only post that video that you posted at the same time and then maybe talk about it in your newsletter so that people can go, we're really focusing on the organic discoverability, which is those keywords.
Speaker A:So what do you think?
Speaker B:Interesting.
Speaker B:So I will say for, in terms of like, I never typically do a new intro.
Speaker B:I have my intro and my outro that are, you know, I've re recorded them like maybe three or four times over the years I was doing it, but other than that they just stay the same.
Speaker B:And then I would just roll right into my interviews or my solo episodes.
Speaker B:I will, I'm horrible about like bullet points or going, I will go off the cuff and just, I'm just not that person.
Speaker A:That's.
Speaker B:I don't know if it's, I'm not that organized.
Speaker B:I just sound robotic if I'm trying to read off a script or anything.
Speaker B:So I will have no problem going off the cuff and just maybe having a couple of like, hey, Laura, maybe talk about this.
Speaker B:So I love the idea of the coaching calls because that really showcases my expertise versus just me interviewing someone and talking about them.
Speaker B:So that's brilliant.
Speaker B:And then so my question to you would be in terms of like, SEO rich, like, title.
Speaker B:So looking back on the call we just had for the laser focused strategy session that we did together, what would be a title you would do for that?
Speaker B:Would you talk about like podcasting and I'll stop talking, let you answer my question.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker A:So you already have a name for your specific call.
Speaker A:So my call for these is a podcast growth clarity call.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:So you already call them a laser focused tech call.
Speaker A:Is that what it was?
Speaker A:I'm so sorry.
Speaker B:Strategy call, laser focus strategy session.
Speaker A:So but because you are specifically talking about email, I might actually add in newsletter support, email support, email marketing, something along those lines because that's what the call was about.
Speaker A:But if you have other calls that you do, then add in those.
Speaker A:So it's like website support.
Speaker A:I don't know what it, you know, whatever it might be.
Speaker A:Maybe you have podcast support.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:So podcast production support.
Speaker A:I don't know, you know, other choices that you have, but I would introduce that in the first, you know, 15, 30 seconds and I would just say something like, you know, this.
Speaker A:I had this amazing call with Kim and she did my laser focused email marketing strategy call.
Speaker A:And if you are interested, I would love for you to join me.
Speaker A:It's the big button on the front page of my home screen home website.
Speaker A:And that is at.
Speaker A:And then just get that.
Speaker A:And so here's the call and it just goes right into it.
Speaker A:And then it starts with, hey, Laura.
Speaker A:Hey, Kim.
Speaker A:How are you?
Speaker A:How was the day?
Speaker A:It was beautiful.
Speaker A:You know, all that.
Speaker A:So, yeah.
Speaker A:Does that help you?
Speaker B:That does so.
Speaker B:And that's helpful to know because I was thinking in my mind that from an SEO rich, that it would need to talk about.
Speaker B:We talked on the call about podcasting your.
Speaker B:How you are a podcast podcaster.
Speaker B:And like, we talked about that.
Speaker B:So in my mind I was thinking that needed to be in there, not the focus on my keywords.
Speaker A:Yes, you could put.
Speaker A:Because we specifically talked about.
Speaker A:You talk to a podcaster, right?
Speaker A:You talk to somebody like that.
Speaker A:You could say email marketing for the, for the.
Speaker A:I. I understand that.
Speaker A:So you're looking for the title of the actual episode.
Speaker A:So I would say it has to have some sort of keywords regarding email marketing.
Speaker A:But you should, because you talk to a podcast, you know, podcast growth coach or something.
Speaker A:You could talk to something along the lines of podcast, podcast, you know, growth, podcast producer, something like that, to try to pull in those.
Speaker A:The thing with the word podcast.
Speaker A:And I struggle with this because my name of my podcast is podcasting for spiritual Women is everybody and their mother.
Speaker A:You seems to have the word podcast in their title, even though they shouldn't.
Speaker A:They shouldn't.
Speaker A:It is.
Speaker A:So for me specifically, if you were to do that, you might want to use like a different word for this or something like this.
Speaker A:So maybe something about struggling with sales.
Speaker A:Struggling, struggling with replies.
Speaker A:You know what I mean?
Speaker A:Because that's what we talked about.
Speaker A:So email marketing, struggling with.
Speaker A:Struggling with replies to your email.
Speaker A:Listen to this coaching session.
Speaker A:We could definitely tweak it.
Speaker A:But something along those lines.
Speaker A:Go to my pain point and talk to that.
Speaker A:Because the word podcast is so oversaturated in that department.
Speaker A:Now if you were to talk to somebody else.
Speaker A:And they were talking about maybe marketing again, it could be, but maybe it's niched marketing.
Speaker A:So you could definitely use that in your title.
Speaker A:So you can definitely play around with it.
Speaker A:And the beautiful thing about a title is if you don't like it and it's not getting the downloads, just change it.
Speaker A:It's okay.
Speaker A:Because here's the thing.
Speaker A:If you change it, first of all, somebody that's listened to it, right?
Speaker A:It's going to say finished on their device because they've listened.
Speaker A:And if somebody, if they didn't listen to it, one could hit different.
Speaker A:It could hit differently the next time they listen to it.
Speaker A:Or two, they could be just in perimenopause and just be like, I don't remember hearing that.
Speaker A:So perfect.
Speaker A:So you're good.
Speaker B:One other thing I want to ask you about that you mentioned was about that you don't need any sort of show notes.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:And so the thing I would always do is I would put, like, my show notes were pretty basic.
Speaker B:I wasn't really talking much about what we talked about.
Speaker B:It was.
Speaker B:I would always do the bio that I was given of the person I was interviewing, and then I would put in any links that we discussed.
Speaker B:So if I reference back to a different podcast episode, if we talked about any tech or tools, a link to their freebie, a link to their website, if they talk to.
Speaker B:If they have a podcast and they talked about it, I would do all.
Speaker B:I would put all that in my show notes and on the website.
Speaker B:Like.
Speaker B:Like on.
Speaker A:So let me ask you, are you a podcast listener?
Speaker A:Have you clicked on any of those links?
Speaker A:Have you clicked on all of those links when you go to somebody, or do you just choose one?
Speaker B:I listened to a podcast recently, and they were taught they.
Speaker B:It was not on topic, but it was like, tell me something that you're loving or.
Speaker B:And she was obsessed with this app.
Speaker B:And I'm like, I need.
Speaker B:I, like, stopped my walk with the dog on the beach and opened up the phone and went and, like, dug around till I could figure out how to find that link in whatever the podcasting thing is, itunes or whatever it was, and found it and downloaded and then was like, couldn't get to download because I didn't have good Internet on the beach.
Speaker B:And it was this whole thing.
Speaker B:And now I still can't really figure out how to work the magical app that she talked about.
Speaker B:And I'm like, I want to.
Speaker B:And I don't even remember what the podcast episode was or who it was.
Speaker B:I was listening to him.
Speaker B:Like, I want to go back and see what they said about it.
Speaker A:Oh, so see, okay, so here is actually.
Speaker A:That's actually a perfect example because what they should have done is maybe just sent you to their website.
Speaker A:So to the website where there was maybe the notes for the podcast on there, the transcription right there.
Speaker A:Because you could have.
Speaker A:Then you could have saved that to your phone.
Speaker A:So rather than downloading the app right away, it would have opened the blog post or whatever to that.
Speaker A:You could have still listened to the episode.
Speaker A:So you can.
Speaker A:You still have that, but it's open in your Safari or your Chrome or whatever you're using.
Speaker A:And then all those links are there or the transcript is there, and you can, you know, scroll through the transcript and say, oh, that's the name of the app and go grab it.
Speaker A:So unfortunately, they did you a little dirty on that.
Speaker A:But, you know, we can learn from that.
Speaker A:And know that was a struggle.
Speaker A:And you don't want people to struggle.
Speaker A:You want them to be able to find that right away.
Speaker A:So go to this one, link my website and don't send them to their website.
Speaker A:Send them to your website and then link out backlinks matter.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:And then send them to, you know, have those links there.
Speaker A:So that would be maybe that additional step that you'd be like, oh, yeah, I know I'm trying to reduce the steps, but I don't think it would happen every time because you're not going to have as many guests on.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's very true.
Speaker A:So it would only be, you know, once a month or once every six weeks or so that you do that.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker A:Because I wouldn't necessarily do it for coaching calls.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:I would maybe mention who was in my, in my, in my show notes, but I don't always link to their, to their podcast.
Speaker A:Most of the time it's because while they're working with me, they actually change the name of their podcast to something totally different so people can't find it anyway.
Speaker A:So we would have to.
Speaker A:I would have to go.
Speaker A:I would have to be going back and changing that frequently in there.
Speaker A:But if they go by the person's name, they'll find it, too.
Speaker B:So you mentioned adding some more keyword rich things to my title.
Speaker B:So be bold.
Speaker B:Make waves with email marketing.
Speaker A:Yes, yes, Email marketing strategies for email marketing would be amazing.
Speaker A:You know, I hate using the colon, but in this case, I do it.
Speaker A:And don't even bother changing your cover art.
Speaker A:Your cover art's pretty.
Speaker A:I definitely think it's Nice.
Speaker A:The B B.
Speaker A:Bold is nice.
Speaker A:And bold make waves is maybe harder to see because it's scripty.
Speaker A:So maybe change that.
Speaker A:But you know what?
Speaker A:That is not something that I'm going to be picky about.
Speaker A:I really want you to get the downloads first and that is in the hosting.
Speaker A:So are you using buzzsprout?
Speaker A:I feel like you are because you mentioned it.
Speaker A:Okay, so just right there in the settings, just it.
Speaker A:Be bold, make waves.
Speaker A:Colon or hyphen?
Speaker A:I use the hyphen because I like the hyphen.
Speaker A:I feel colon is just very chatgpt.
Speaker A:But yes.
Speaker A:So hyphen and not the M dash either.
Speaker A:Just the hyphen.
Speaker A:And then email strategies for women entrepreneurs.
Speaker A:Oh my gosh, go at that right away.
Speaker A:I feel like that that would be it.
Speaker A:Because that's what you're teaching, that's what you're showing people.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:And your specific people are women.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:If you do women over.
Speaker A:I have one client and she only helps women over 50.
Speaker A:So that's what we put in our podcast name for women over 50.
Speaker A:You also mentioned something earlier I just wanted to briefly touch upon.
Speaker A:I know we're over time for our call here, but I do want to just mention you've had a lot of interviews before and you didn't always connect with them.
Speaker A:But if you are interested in doing a relaunch of your show, this would be a perfect time to have a connection party with all those people, say, I'm relaunching my show.
Speaker A:I hadn't been doing them for almost a full year now.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:I'm relaunching my show.
Speaker A:And so I would love for you to join me in this connection party where we can have a little.
Speaker A:Little one on one if you wanted to.
Speaker A:Or maybe you could have a little.
Speaker A:You know, you could, you could do one of two things.
Speaker A:You could have a big zoom call, right, where everybody's on it and just do one giant thing just to reconnect.
Speaker A:Or you could be like, I'd love to talk to you for 10 minutes, record that 10 minutes and then put it out as like a couple of different episodes where you're like, this was our connection call.
Speaker A:And you know, episode 78 was with.
Speaker A:Was with Renee and I. Renee has this to say.
Speaker A:Her and I connected recently.
Speaker A:And this is what she.
Speaker A:This is what she's up to now.
Speaker A:I mean, like, how brilliant would that be to have that little.
Speaker A:And you're getting the connection because you've already done it and you're getting another episode or two out of it.
Speaker A:And then more love to the original episode.
Speaker B:So that's interesting.
Speaker B:I thought you were going to go a different direction with this.
Speaker B:I thought you were going to say I could reach out to those past people and offer them to come back on the show and get a live coaching, 20 minute laser focused email strategies
Speaker A:could do that too.
Speaker A:Yeah, you could give them the option.
Speaker A:You could absolutely give them the option.
Speaker A:If you feel like they would be an ideal client for you, offer them the coaching laser focus because then that could easily turn into a client.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Or if you feel like, you know what?
Speaker A:I didn't really love that conversation with them, which, you know, it happens.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:I didn't really love that conversation, but I would love to do something and give that attention.
Speaker A:Then just tell them that you're relaunching and you would love to have a 10 minute call and find out where they are now to just give that particular episode a little bit more love.
Speaker A:And I would batch those.
Speaker A:I would do like maybe like three of them.
Speaker A:And when you get three, put them all together and then do the intro.
Speaker A:Basically, I reconnected with these three people.
Speaker A:Their episodes are episode.
Speaker A:I'm going to just throw out numbers 32, 44 and 78.
Speaker A:And I reconnected with them.
Speaker A:Here is where they are now.
Speaker A:I invite you to go listen to those episodes and then just start in.
Speaker A:Be like, hey, how are you?
Speaker A:How have you been since episode 32?
Speaker A:I know it's been a while since we've connected, you know, and just have that little, what are you doing now?
Speaker A:I think that'd be an amazing little conversation, an easy podcast episode because you could put all three of them.
Speaker A:You can put three of them together.
Speaker A:That'd be a half an hour episode or thereabouts.
Speaker A:And then also send people back to those episodes for a little extra love.
Speaker B:I love that idea.
Speaker B:I think that's fun.
Speaker B:And because also I had some great guests.
Speaker B:I mean, I had a lot.
Speaker B:I, you know, it was like a party.
Speaker B:I'm such a connector.
Speaker B:I threw.
Speaker B:I got all my friends to come on and chit chat and we had a great time.
Speaker A:I love that.
Speaker A:Yeah, but you know that there are going to be those, those people that are like, you know, I'm not really interested in the laser call.
Speaker A:I'm not doing that anymore or whatever.
Speaker A:And that's when you say, okay, well then I would love to have you on just as a.
Speaker A:Let's tell me what, where you are now.
Speaker A:And we're going to give that old episode some love.
Speaker A:Do you mind?
Speaker A:And usually they're like, okay, 10 minutes.
Speaker A:All right, yeah, I can give you 10 minutes.
Speaker A:And then you never know.
Speaker A:They still might be like, you know what?
Speaker A:I forgot how much I love you and how much I want to work with you.
Speaker A:So let's explore that.
Speaker A:You just never know.
Speaker A:So I think that'd be a great option for you to reconnect with them.
Speaker B:I think that's a fantastic idea.
Speaker B:Oh, Kim, this was fantastic.
Speaker B:You gave me so many ideas.
Speaker B:The wheels are turning.
Speaker A:Excellent.
Speaker A:Excellent.
Speaker A:Well, thank you so much for being on today.
Speaker A:Is there any other questions that you have for me today?
Speaker B:I think.
Speaker B:I think I got in all my questions.
